How much tent space do I need per guest?
A common rule of thumb is about 12 sq ft per guest at banquet rounds, 10 at long tables, and 5–8 for cocktail-style or theater seating. Add space for a dance floor, buffet, bar or stage.
Should I round up to the next tent size?
Yes, in most cases. Tents come in stock sizes, and a little extra room makes walkways, servers and chairs far more comfortable.
Does the tent need extra room around the outside?
Yes. Tents need staking or weighting clearance on all sides, so plan for extra lawn or pavement beyond the tent footprint. We confirm this at site review.
